Epilogue for My New Book (No Title Yet)

I'm running through the forest. There are trees all around me. I'm cold, and scared, as I'm getting away from a chaser.
I find myself in an old, abandoned trailer park. I can't look back, or else I'm gonna get fear, and I'm gonna fall.
I then hear the voice. I thought I was alone, but I hear his voice. He yells out,
"Nikki!"
I see him, and I smile, and run to him. I run to him, and he grabbed me and wraps me in his arms. Yet I know he can't stay with me.
"You have to go. You're not safe with me here." I said.
He let go of me, and looked straight into my eyes.
"I'm not leaving you here defenseless." he said, as he then grabs my arms and pulls me back into a hug.
"Well, I'm not gonna let you get hurt, or worse. You have to leave."
"I can't. I'm involved to much into you, and your life. I can't leave the girl I love right now."
I started to feel water run to my eyes, as I chocked out,
"Which is why, I hate to say, you have to go."
"Nikki, I can't go back without you."
I let go, but kept my hands on his arms.
"You have to. Unless you wanna get hurt or get stuck in a terrible situation, you have to get out. I couldn't live knowing I hurt you."
Well, I can't live knowing I let you go on your own."
I let go of him, and I started to feel tears run down my cheeks. I nodded my head no as I backed away, and ran off.
But as I started running, I heard the gun shot, and fell down yelling out for him.
"Nikki!"
he yelled, as he ran to me. Another gun shot went off, but it missed. He came running over to me, and he picked me up in his arms, and he started running.
I was coughing, and tears were running down my eyes form how cold it was. I was frozen; I felt cold chills on my arms as hard as ice form how freezing it was out here.
He kept running until he found his way out of the woods.
We ran all the way to the back of a diner. He ducked down to make sure the shooter disappeared. I was shivering, and my teeth were chattering; I was still wrapped in his arms.
"You still breathing?" he asked, as he looked down at me.
I nodded my head, because I was so cold. He let me down for a minute, and he took his jacket off and wrapped it around me. I didn't have chills anymore, and I stopped chattering a bit.
"You better now?" he asked.
"Yeah." I choked out.
He looked around a little bit more, and we saw that the coast was clear.
"I think it's safe now. So, now what?" he asked.
"I don't know. I think we should just, head back home.
"You know that's now what I meant." he said, as he helped me up.
I let out a sigh, because I knew he meant, what's gonna happen to us?
"I don't know. You're not safe with me, but I don't want you to go." I said.
"I don't wanna leave you either." he said, as he wrapped me back into his arms.
"Should there even be an us?" he said, as he let me go.
"I- can't finish that sentence." I said.
"Well, let me know when you can- because I'll be waiting." he said, as he walked away; he practically left me in the cold, dark night I was afraid of.
I started to walk home, thinking, why was this happening to me?
When I got to the stop sign only a block from my house, I noticed I was still wearing his jacket. I started to walk to his house to give his jacket back, and I was scared of the shooter coming back, so I was hoping that he'd be able to walk me home.
I could see the trees that led to the forest; the abandoned trailer park we ran through. I started running now, but it was so cold, I had to slow down.
I stopped at the end of the sidewalk that began again across the street. I caught my breath, and stopped for a second. I started walking again, and I stopped right in front of his house.
I then felt like I could hear a stomping, like footsteps. I doubted it was anything, but then it started to get closer, like it was getting closer to me, every second getting closer.
I slowly turned around, and I saw a body behind me. I got scared, and I yelled out
"No!"
And as I yelled it out, I felt the hands come onto my cheeks, and I closed my eyes, too scared to see who it was.
I then, fell back, as I felt my head hit the concrete, and everything faded-into black.
